The 26th WAS Congress

Sexual Justice Initiative
The Sexual Justice Initiative (SJI) continues to redefine sexual justice by addressing social exclusion and discrimination. The SJI Steering Committee's work culminated in the Sexual Justice Declaration, a pivotal document for advancing sexual health and rights.
The International Journal of Sexual Health
Our official journal, the International Journal of Sexual Health (IJSH), achieved remarkable milestones in 2023. With over 102,000 downloads and an impact factor of 2.0, IJSH continues to be a leading source of peer-reviewed scientific papers, promoting a positive approach to sexuality and sexual rights.
World Sexual Health Day
On September 4th, 2023, we celebrated World Sexual Health Day with the theme "Consent." This global event featured diverse activities and resources, reinforcing the importance of consensual and respectful sexual relationships.
